Welcome to Bean Bites! My name is Jean Bordner and I'm the Owner/Artisan Cake Pop Artist. I'm a mother to two beautiful children (a son and a daughter), married to my amazing husband, I was a former high school art teacher (16 years) and now the proud Owner/creator of Bean Bites.

Why Bean Bites? Well, those who know me well, know I've always been hyper, energetic, goofy, fun-loving and always off the wall crazy at times so because of that I've always been called Jean Jean the Jumping Bean. It's only fitting that I incorporated that into my business name, so that's how Bean bites was born.

I've been cooking and baking most of my life but always had a real passion for baking and creating baked goods for family and friends. 

​

Bean Bites was started when I decided to be a stay at home mom and wanted to focus more on my baking while watching my children. I went to college for Art and was a High School Art teacher for 16 years so my creativity and art knowledge definitely helps when creating my designs, ideas and of course flavors! ALL of my cake pop flavors are made from scratch, which makes them extra tasty and delicious!

Bean Bites is a LLC, ( licensed home baking small business). I operate as a licensed Cottage Food business (out of the home) in the state of Virginia ONLY. There is no "mom-and-pop" store for clients to visit for shopping. My cake pops are available through pre-order ONLY (check out the Order Form page for more details). We DO NOT ship orders (in or out of state).

All inquiries are done through email (Beanbites17@gmail.com). When you place an official order, the email correspondences and order form(s) helps with recording (bookkeeping) and helps me keep a copy/record of all the details involved with each order.
